Core Values:

Unique or Distinctive Qualities

Work Opportunities Unlimited is a community-based employment provider that serves students and adults who are in need of assistance to obtain and maintain employment. It is the goal of Work Opportunities Unlimited to identify the interests of the customer in order to customize an employment goal that addresses transportation needs, skills and talents, and identify services that will give the customer the best chance to obtain and maintain long-term employment.

In order to facilitate long-term employment, it is imperative for us to develop relationships with employers that allow for job carving and job creation. Together with the employer we hope to create employee/employer relationships that work both for the customer and the employer. Once employment is secured, Work Opportunities Unlimited will work with the employer to build capacity within them to train and support the customer effectively on the job. On an ongoing basis the team at Work Opportunities Unlimited will consult with the customer and the employer to ensure both parties are satisfied.

Describe your quality assurance practices, including any agency accreditations

Work Opportunities Unlimited has been a CARF accredited in Maine and Massachusetts. Work Opportunities Unlimited's services are reviewed for quality on an annual basis in all of the states in which Work Opportunities Unlimited provide services

Work Opportunities Unlimited implements a system for ensuring satisfaction through a survey process. The principal aspects of the survey include three satisfaction surveys that are disseminated on an annual basis to Work Opportunities Unlimited's customers/job seekers, employers, and the referral source representative. These surveys are returned to the Local office in New Hampshire where they are reviewed by the company president. From where they are entered in a database from which an annual report is created and presented to the senior management team for analysis. In addition, any survey that is returned with below average ratings or comments is "flagged" by the company president and follow up action is initiated at the local level to ensure the situation is addressed.

How Does Your Agency Support People In Becoming Active Members Of Their Community?

Work Opportunities Unlimited believes firmly in the principle of customized individual employment on the payroll of local companies. In addition, further education and transportation are promoted in order to develop the customer's capacity for independence.

Steps Individuals Must Take to Apply for services
