Mission Statement
Service Coordination exists to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and other groups needing assistance in determining and meeting their needs in ways they prefer. Service Coordination assists individuals in becoming active members of their communities with equal rights and responsibilities. Service Coordination helps people develop and obtain high quality supports and services that are the least intrusive to meet their desires and needs and support their personal goals. Service Coordination believes that each person's values, dignity, hapiness, and rights must be respected.
Unique or Distinctive Qualities
The vast geographic area in which Service Coordination works and the large number of people served gives Service Coordination a unique ability to see and understand a wide variety of concers facing people with disabilities.

Service Coordination has conducted discussions with staff to review the results. These discussions include ways to systematically and individual promote self-determination and individual rights.
The "Ask Me!" Survey Results is available for the general public.

Service Coordination has an established history of formally reviewing the quality of its services and adjusting the manner of providing those services when necessary. The quality assurance plan is reviewed by the Service Coordination Steering Committee, which will act as the Quality Assurance Committee.
How Does Your Agency Support People In Becoming Active Members Of Their Community?
Through the support and facilitation of self advocacy activities and events, Service Coordinators receive training on how to facilitate community connections and actively assist people in making those connections.
