Day Habilitation Program
Day Services are provided for the following:

The program also includes resources to assure that consumers with a developmental disability can attend Day Habilitation and Vocational Services programs by providing transportation from their homes to the program site and back home again. Transportation services are arranged by the day program, which may provide the services themselves or contract with an established transportation Provider. Providers of Day services encourage the participation of family, friends, volunteers, and public transportation for those who are able to use it.

Providers operate all Day Care/Transportation Services programs throughout Maryland. Without these programs, more consumers would require institutionalization because of the strain it would put on their families to provide 24 hour-a-day continuous care.
