Quantum Leap, Incorporated (QLI) provides residential and support services to adults with developmental disabilities. QLI strives to provide these services by offering individuals choices and preferences to foster autonomy. QLI aims to offer guidance and encouragement that will altimately gear individuals toward relative levels of independence.
Quantum Leap, Incorporated (QLI) distinguishes itself in the services it provides. QLI does not use a "fill the vacancy available" approach in its procurement process. Instead, QLI reckons that it is dealing with human beings, which is a very fluid service in nature. QLI follows necessarily that its services have to be individuated by using the holistic approach. In other words, from a synthesis of an individual's strengths and needs, QLI is able to tailor services that are appropiate, comprehensive and pragmatic.
The Ask Me! survey yields results that highlight domains of individuals' quality of life that is, too many times, under served. The domains of physical well-being and emotional well-being appear to be improving. However, equally important domains of self-determination and rights do not seem to have improved as much. Based on these results, Quantum Leap, Inc. strives to devise various ways to maintain and respect the rights of all individuals. All plans and programs are subject to the Quality Assurance Committee, which is primarily comprised of individuals, parents and other proponents for review and approval before implementation. This system of checks and balances ensures that an individual's rights are not breached. QLI's internal surveys also encourage individuals to be their own respondents, and, as much as possible, offer them realistic choices and preferences of employment.
The "Ask Me!" Survey Results is available for the general public
Quantum Leap Incorporated (QLI) runs an open program. In other words, QLI espouses transparency and value appropriate external views as a good measure of the quality of our services. QLI's internal quality assurance practices are overseen by a Quality Assurance Committee that is primarily comprised of individuals, parents and other proponents who volunteer their invaluable time to ensure that their loved ones are receiving the highest quality of services. Individual satisfaction and other surveys are also utilized to assess, adjust and improve its services.
QLI encourages individuals to avail themselves to a wide array of generic community services. As much as possible, individuals are integrated into their communities by encouraging them to participate in constructive social events and express political preference through voting, for example.
