The League for People with Disabilities provides a unique comprehensive continuum of care to its participants. The League's Vocational and Employment Services offers assessments, employee development services, job coaching and retention services. However, those same participants can also choose to participate in therapeutic recreation opportunities and a fitness program, all under one organization. the League's day programs provide quality services in a safe and stimulating environment, while also offering individuals the chance to use the therapeutically heated pool and training equipment to improve physical strength and stamina.
The "Ask Me!" survey results have assisted The League in improving the quality and effectiveness of all rehabilitative and support programs offered at The League.

The League for People with Disabilities is licensed by the Developmental Disabilities Administration and accredited by the Division of Rehabilitative Services. Camp Greentop is accredited by the American Camp Association.
The League assists individuals with disabilities in becoming active members of their community by offering supports individuals integrating into the competitive workplace, encouraging participants to utilize its Wellness Center alongside community members without disabilities and promoting recreation in the community through its therapeutic recreation services. The League also hosts a participant directed advocacy group that is open to all of its members that are interested in joining.
Individuals interested in receiving services at The League will be required to complete an application for services. The application for Vocational Services is available in pdf format for download from the League's web site. All program applications can be obtained by calling (410)323-0500.
Special Considerations: Parents, family and/or caretakers are involved in the development of each individual's plan and are a part of the interdisciplinary team process. Only positive behavior management techniques are used at the League.
