Mission Statement

To provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve self-defined outcomes in their lives, utilizing professional and community resources with the ultimate goal of greater independence and overall enhanced quality of life.

Support to individuals that are dually diagnosed; mental retardation and mental illness. Specialized programs for individuals with challenging behavior.

Continue improvement in the Quality Assurance Department. Langton Green also extracts data from these surveys and calculates the findings from the annual satisfaction survey that is given to families or significant others of all individuals supported. Depending on the issues presented Langton Green has provided training and workshops to all relevant staff on a number of topics raised in the surveys.

The "Ask Me!" Survey Results is available for the general public.

Describe your quality assurance practices, including any agency accreditations?

Langton Green has a robust quality assurance program with monthly with the report of this information to the Quality Assurance Standing Committee, Intradepartment Quality Assurance Committee, Safety Committee and the Board of Directors. The Behavior Plan Committee performs quality assurance measures on each behavior plan prior to the submission of the behavior plan to the Anne Arundel County Human Right's Adivisory Committee. Annual satisfaction surveys are given to families and sigificant others for all individuals supported.

How Does Your Agency Support People In Becoming Active Members Of Their Community?

By the encouragement of all individuals to achieve self determined outcomes. The information needed to achieve community based choices is readily supplied to individuals and ther families as they may choose to expand their choices.
