Residential, Respite, Community Supported Living Arrangement (CSLA).

Individuals Have the Following Types of Disabilities:
Autism, Behavioral Problems, Epilepsy/Seizure Disorder, Head Injury, Speech/Language Impairment, Mental retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Mental disorder, Other neurological impairments and other undetermined disabilities.

Mission Statement

EBED Community Improvement, Inc. mission is to improve the community form the inside out. Ebed believes that when the lives of individuals are improved the community is improved, after all people make up the community. EBED accomplishes this mission by providing adults with developmental disabilities healthy independent living and quality residential services. EBED believes that the highest level of service can be achieved by having qualified staff working in a supportive work environment where there are sound management policies and procedures. EBED believes in ensuring consistent quality care and respect for the religious heritage of each individual.

Unique or Distinctive Qualities

EBED is a small agency that is dedicated to the individuals they serve. It plans to grow but in small quantity so that it can maintain a personalized relationship with its residents. EBED specializes in making its houses into homes. Its residents have always had a voice and are encouraged to exercise their rights to make choices. EBED also encourages individuals to maintain relationship with family and friends. EBED is a residential provider that is concerned with more than just housing its residents, but to ensure love and quality care with integrity.

To develop the individual questions for the individual to gain information on the satisfaction of services that EBED provides as well as finding new ways to better serve each individual.

Discuss your quality assurance practices, including any agency accreditations

QA committees are established to assure that all individuals receive the services that are needed on an individual basis reassuring their rights and dignity are not violated.

How Does Your Agency Support People In Becoming Active Members Of Their Community?

By teaching its individuals to be independent and self sufficient in the community and their daily living skills, exposing the individuals to various community, as well as promoting organizational memberships.

Steps Individuals Must Take to Apply for Services

  1. Must meet DDA criteria to receive funding
  2. Contact agency through Resource Coordination or directly
  3. Arrange meeting between individual and/or family
  4. Complete application
  5. Visit one of the agency homes

Special Considerations/Comments: Respite services can be arranged by anyone in the community privately. EBED works with all individuals as well with dual diagnosed individuals and behaviorally, Challenged individuals.
