Charles County HARC's mission is to provide or promote provision of resources to individuals and families to foster maximum independence and choice by persons with disabilities in their own communities.
Charles County HARC specilalizes in residential services and only operates in Charles County, while serving individuals from all Maryland.
Results are used to evaluate and modify (if appropriate) policies, procedures and services provided in the light of the input obtained through the "Ask Me" process.

Charles County HARC follows quality assurance procedures in accordance with regulations and guidelines. These include human rights, incident reporting, financial and the whole array of quality assurance measures.
Charles County HARC supports each person's choices and preferences through the individual plan process with staff and other resources - including "generic" community support as much as possible.
