Mission Statement

The Caroline Center, Inc. (CCI) strives to provide quality, individualized services for persons who are developmentally disabled through which their greatest potential toward independent living and integration can be obtained. This is realized through the provision of comprehensive services and supports that encourage participants to choose where and how they live, learn, socialize and work.

Unique or Distinctive Qualities

With services offered on both the Easter and Western Shores of Maryland, CCI specializes in diversity. The Eastern Shore's programs are managed and staffed by employees with significant experience working with individuals with co-occuring developmental and mental health disorders. The Western Shore's Day program offers a full-time Registered Nurse and on-site Doctor visits to best meet the needs of a medically fragile group.
