The objective of Caring Hands, Inc. is to provide the individuals they serve an atmosphere that enables each to enjoy a life of dignity and which encourages each to achieve individual goals, dreams, and full potential.

Relatively small agency. Caring Hands operates on the principle of respect for all humanity. Caring Hands turns houses into homes. Caring Hands promotes the services in a normalized lifestyle. This will be achieved by ensuring consumers are well integrated into the communities in which they live. Activities should never be limited by a person's disability. Persons should be assisted in surmounting barriers to mobility. By focusing on strengths, abilities, and interests, Caring Hands seeks to empower and enable people. Staff are selected on the basis of skills and their sincere commitment to providing quality and caring services to individuals with disabilities. The individual and their family are the best resource when developing a service plan for the individual. Therefore, the family is welcome to participate as much as they wish.

Special Considerations: Will not provide services to individuals with a history of criminal activity which causes serious bodily harm to others. Examples include arson, forced sexual contact, and assault. Individuals must be eligible for services under the DDA system for permanent residential care. Respite services can be arranged for anyone in the community privately.
