The mission of CALMRA, Inc. Is to improve the lives of persons with developmental disabilities by providing the highest quality residential and other support services in an ethical and loving environment.

CALMRA, Inc. strives to serve people currently residing in their family's home. CALMRA caters to people with severe disabilities or health concerns.

Describe your quality assurance practices, including any agency accreditations.

CALMRA, Inc. has a Quality Assurance Plan which has been approved by the State of Maryland. All homes are visited by volunteers and areas of concern are documented and addressed by the administration.

How Does Your Agency Support People In Becoming Active Members Of Their Community?

All persons in CALMRA's programs are encouraged to participate in any religious, recreational, and/or volunteer opportunities in the communities in which they live. CALMRA supports all efforts as needed.

Steps Individuals Must Take To Apply For Services

A letter outlining requested service along with a current IP, physical, and other pertinent information can be mailed to the administrative office.

Special Considerations/Comments: Due to the frgile and vunerable condition of the persons CALMRA serves, CALMRA is unable to serve people in need of intense behavioral interventions.
