Be Our Guest's quality assurance plan is used to effectively monitor and maintain the quality of its program. Be Our Guest is committed to delivering supports and services to individuals in its care. Be Our Guest recognizes that quality assurance is a necessary tool for critiquing the components and functions of its delivery of supports and services. Quality is measured in several ways: Individual satisfaction, implementation of mutually agreed upon plans (Individual Plans, services, supports and goals). Collaborative modifications of the plan to meet the changing needs, desires and choices of individuals, prompt and appropriate response when an individual's health and safety are at risk, establishing goals and standards to measure the quality of services being delivered. Be Our Guest utilizes the Quality Assurance Measurement tool, Individual Record Audit and Satisfaction Survey. The Standing Committee made up of two agency staff and two proponents of the community, critique any situation that requires unbiased and objective thinking to reach a resolution in the best interest of the individual. The committee follows up on any corrective action to ensure these have been implemented as directed
Be Our Guest's individuals use the generic community resources for their needs, educational, recreational and spiritual needs the same as their peers. It is important for Be Our Guest's individuals to maintain high esteem, going to the beauty parlor and barber shop. Eating out, being visible, playing in the parks, attending the day camps, churches. All of the above, but not limited to these, are examples of Be Our Guest's means to community integration.
