Bee Homes, Inc. implores creative options in making sure those individuals with medical and developmental disabilities are exposed to the same opportunities other individuals enjoy. The choice emphasizes self determination so that the individuals supported by the team are encouraged to live and work in the community thereby helping them to exercise their rights and priviledges for a relatively better life and to integrate into a less restrictive setting in the community.
Bee Homes has broadened its' scope in making sure that individualized support and services are implemented in amanner which is culturally normative, age appropriate and focuses on individual strengths, abilities, interests and desires.
On Bee Homes' quest to offer quality services to individuals with special needs, the agency has embarked on an "ASK ME" strategy survey plan since its inception.
The survey feedback has fine tuned its broad network by identifying areas needing improvement and including them in the Agency's plan for the provision of quality and desired services for individuals with special needs.
The data received on this survey is reviewed as part of the Agency's quality Assurance plan. Any Areas identified as needing improvement are integrated into the agency's plan for follow up. A comprehensive report and analysis of the Agency's quality assurance strategies and the survey feedback are usually submitted to Maryland's Office Of Health Care Quality (OHCQ) and the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). Bee Homes, Inc. has effectively utilized the "ASK ME" survey data as a guide to providing quality services to individuals and the Agency in a a broader prospective.

Bee Homes, Inc. has well developed quality assurance policy that is aimed at monitoring and evaluating all the services provided by the Agency.
The composition of this plan includes, among other things, a routine site inspection, meetngs and interviews with individuals and families receiving services, organizing orientations, refresher courses, seminars and workshops for staff, outside inspections completed by licensing and regulatory authorities and record reviews.
The information and data will be displayed in a database monthly and sent to the Internal Quality Assurance Departmental Team for reviews and comment. The recommendations are sent to the CEO and Board appointed Quality Assurance Standing Committee who will deliberate on it and send a final copy with its' recommendation to the entire Board of Directors
Bee Homes, Inc. is committed to supporting individuals to become active members of their community by providing a well trained staff to work and monitor individuals closely to identify their areas of interest.
The Agency is setting up program plans and vocational activities in communities with a support staff to assist individuals to participate in their community by exploring the opportunities available based on the specific interest of the individual. Taking into cognisance how critical transportation is to people with disabilities, the Agency has assisted in providing transportation services to individuals with their activity areas.
